This is an 8-hour day of Asian Theory that encompasses all of Chinese Medicine Theory. This class covers the topics; the Tao, Two Polarities, Three Treasures, Four Levels of Chi, Four Causes of Disease, Four Assessments, Five Elements and Seasons, Six Divisions, Six Pernicious Climates, Seven Evil Emotions, Eight Strange Flows, Ten Questions, Twelve Organ Meridians. This overview class is designed to have you begin with the “Big Picture” of the Theory behind Acupressure and then you will zoom into more depth of detail in the topics covered here, in subsequent classes. The class fee is $100 check or cash (plus a small additional fee for debit/credit card payments), and we will go to lunch together, at an additional cost to you of about $12.
Acupressure is a vast, complex, and elegant system that is more study intensive than some other bodywork modalities, but I know you will be as fascinated with it as I am, and will find this ancient healing art well worth the effort.
